RAILWAY STATION REDEVELOPMENT

The project involved three stations on the Rome–Civita Castellana–Viterbo railway line: Fabrica di Roma, Sant’Oreste, and Rignano Flaminio. The upgrading interventions included the reconstruction of station platforms with LVE path design, the extension of canopy covers, the reorganization of external squares, and the redevelopment of station buildings, warehouses, and sanitary facilities.
For the buildings, in addition to architectural and functional redevelopment, where necessary, interventions included wall reinforcement and the demolition and reconstruction of roofs. At Rignano Flaminio station, it was also necessary to replace the entire access staircase connecting the street level to the station level. The station upgrades are part of a broader project for functional redevelopment and routine maintenance of the entire area.
