The assignment involved the executive design for the expansion of the building owned by BNL – BNP Paribas Group, located at Via Cavour 28 in Turin, intended to house the new headquarters of the international postgraduate institution specializing in managerial and financial education (“Business School”) of ESCP – École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, which has been present in Turin since 2004 at another location.
The building maintains the original street alignment and heights, with design and finishing features similar to the existing ones. The structure is made of steel and concrete, with a rectangular floor plan. It consists of a basement and three above-ground floors. The basement is built in reinforced concrete, while the above-ground structures are made of metalwork with large-span trusses.
